BIL Grants Require Community Benefit Plans

It is no longer a question of whether everyone needs to be connected to the same opportunities, people, resources, products, and services. The need is clear. So is the Administration’s plan for solving the Muscle Power problem. It is Community Benefit Plans.

Community Benefit Plans

The money from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) is being focused on different infrastructure areas and being administered by different agencies, such as the National Telecommunications and Information Agency (NTIA) or the Department of Energy (DOE). Each have their own programs and approaches, but ALL are aligned to include the requirement that winning grant applicants address the Muscle Power problem in specific and measurable ways.

The Community Benefit Network (CBN) makes it easy for grant applicants to create a plan to connect the dots for Community Benefit.

By joining the CBN, and inviting its partners or program participants to join, the grant applicant, and those in the community to be served, immediately gain access to the most powerful platform for connecting the dots between need and opportunity. The CBN uses social network technology, but with a level of control and transparency that actually makes it useful, and not creepy.
